Reenactment is by its very nature flawed, in that it is fragmentary and we use a bit of imagination to get it all to add up (I call it cloning our reenactment dinosaurs with plenty of frog DNA 😉 ) . The funniest rant about this was published in English by the reenactment group De Liebaart, www.liebaart.org, originally a translation from another group, Tempora Nostra, and thought up by Philipp Klostermann.
